Twelve years world champion, 46 title defenses – Regina Halmich broke records in her career and is now considered a pioneer of women’s boxing. When you meet in a Berlin restaurant, you realize that the 46-year-old can also do without the big stage. Calmly and matter-of-factly, she tells of the time of her greatest fame and her worst defeats. Only her little dog, who wants to sit on her lap, lets her lose the thread for a moment.
